OpenAI has added a new and special feature to its Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT. This feature allows people to search their chat history, so that they can find old chats as quickly as possible. Before the arrival of this feature, people had to scroll through the entire chat history. This feature is currently available on the web portal of ChatGPT. It is being rolled out for paid subscribers of the platform.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the official account of OpenAI has given information about this feature. Users were waiting for the feature of searching previous chats for a long time. This is because they were facing a lot of difficulties in finding old chats. Come, let us know about this new feature.
Know what is special in the new chat history feature?
With this new chat history feature, users can now see a new magnifying glass icon on the side panel of ChatGPT web. It is present on the left side of the window. After tapping on this icon, a text field opens where they can search some keywords to find a previous chat. This text field also shows recent chats, after which users can access the history with the typed keyword.
This feature rolled out for ChatGPT Plus and Team users
At present this feature has been rolled out for ChatGPT Plus and Team users. The company has said that Enterprise and Edu subscribers will get this feature within a week. However, users of the free version may have to wait a little.
